I have been living in Devon for nearly 8 years now, moving down to the South West at the age of 11 from Buckinghamshire with my mother and twin sister.

Having been brought up close to the countryside and being very much an outdoors girl, at a young age I was drawn to my local stables and it was here that I found my passion for horses.  This passion has developed over the years and at the age of 14, I was lucky enough to have my own pony, a little Welsh Sec C named 'Star' .  And that he was!  We successfully competed at County Level showing, excelling in the M&M Working Hunter Pony classes and enjoyed a variety of disciplines, including show jumping, dressage, cross country & hunting.

Along with my passion of horses came my love for art.  I enjoyed art throughout school, taking art at GCSE - passing with an A* and taking A-Level Fine Art - passing with an A.  After my A-levels I completed an Art & Design Foundation Diploma at Exeter College.  Here I specialised in Illustration & Technical drawing, passing with Distinction. It was from here that I decided it was a creative path in which I wanted to persue.

After the Foundation Art course I was asked to paint a horse & cocker spaniel for a 20th birthday present.  The painting turned out to be a huge success and admired by many, further commissions followed.  It is from that point where I am today, 18 months down the line and the commissions are still lining up!

In my work I aim to capture a true likeness and character of the animal at hand.  Maintaining a looseness between the background & subject matter is important to me.  At the same time however, I am a complete perfectionist when it comes to fine detail and this has a real emphasis within my work.  I strive to create a really life like painting, combining my style with your personal preferences for your own individual piece.

I really hope you enjoy browsing the site and I am happy if you require any further information for you to contact me.
